Nearly Three Years of Aesthetics at 51
This November marks three years since I opened Aesthetics at 51 here in Kibworth.
What started as a home-based clinic has grown through recommendations, returning clients and the trust of local people.
Over those three years, one thing I’ve learnt is that many people are interested in looking after their skin or exploring aesthetic treatments. But they simply don’t know where to begin.
One of the most common things I hear from new clients is: “I know I’d like to do something for my skin, but I have no idea what I need.”
I completely understand why. There are now so many treatments, products and opinions available that skincare can quickly become confusing. Microneedling, peels, dermaplaning and skin boosters can make it feel as though you need to know the answer before you walk through the door.
I don’t think it should work like that. My approach at Aesthetics at 51 has always been to keep things personal, straightforward and realistic. Good treatment should start with understanding your skin. What would you like to improve? And recognising when you don’t need to do very much at all.
That thinking led me to introduce my Welcome Ritual.
It’s a complimentary skin consultation combined with an Express Facial. It gives new clients the chance to visit the clinic, meet me and talk about their skin without feeling committed to a treatment.
We can discuss your current routine, any concerns and what you would realistically like to achieve. I can then explain suitable options. Whether that means an in-clinic treatment, changes at home, or carrying on with what you are already doing.
There is no obligation to book anything afterwards.
As Aesthetics at 51 approaches its third anniversary, the principle remains the same: professional care, honest advice and making people feel comfortable.
