Burton Overy Dancers – New Programme
Burton Overy Dancers started its new, exciting programme on Wednesday 16 September. Our folk dance club enjoys a wide range of dance styles – English Country, Assembly Room (Playford), American Square & Contra. Think anything ranging from a Jane Austen Regency dance to a jolly jig.
Come and join us as a visitor for an evening of music, dancing and good company. And, refreshments at half time. The dances are easy to learn. ‘Callers’ help us to practise before an actual dance. We pair newcomers with an experienced, friendly dancer for their first evening so they always have someone to guide them and dance with. There’s no charge for your first visit and you won’t need dancing shoes (or fancy dress!). Feel free to come alone – no partner required.
Wednesdays 7.30 – 9.30 pm at Burton Overy Village Hall, LE8 9EW.
