GEMS Golf Day
Our annual Charity Golf Day this year is Friday 7 August at Market Harborough Golf Club.
Teams of four, £220 per team. If you are unable to get a full team please let us know. This will include bacon roll, coffee/tea on arrival, 18 holes of golf followed by a meal afterwards with team and individual prizes.
We will also be having a raffle. If you are able to donate a raffle prize please contact me by my email and I will be happy to collect.
This year we are looking for local businesses to have an opportunity to become sponsors for the event. Summer Shindig
Don’t forget our Summer Shindig at the Kings Head, Smeeton on Sunday 21 June. Promises to be a fun packed day with music from four sassy ladies ‘C to the G’. We also have a four piece band ‘Whatever it Takes’. There will also be a BBQ, plant sales, tombola and more.
A massive thank you to Edd and Andrew at the Kings Head for raising the fantastic amount of £600 at their Bingo night in May.
Your help towards these events will go towards funding our current project of a respite night at Winstanley House, Leicester for LRI patients receiving their cancer treatment.
We are also refurbishing the balconies with garden furniture .
Details of our Cuisine of India curry night will appear later in the year.
Again, a heartfelt thanks to everyone who has supported GEMS throughout the year.
