Colour Dash Charity Run
On Friday 22 May, the school field was transformed into a vibrant explosion of colour as children took part in the Leicester Children’s Holidays (LCH) Colour Dash. Excitement filled the air as pupils eagerly gathered at the start line, ready to race around the track. As they made their way around the course, they were cheered on by staff and friends. While being showered in clouds of bright, coloured powder, creating a truly spectacular and memorable sight.
By the end of the event, children were covered from head to toe in colour, wearing huge smiles that reflected the joy of the afternoon. The atmosphere was fantastic—full of energy, laughter and shared enjoyment—and it was wonderful to see everyone taking part with such enthusiasm.

As well as being great fun, the event helped us raise a fantastic amount of money to support LCH. A charity that makes a real difference to families in our region. Working across the East Midlands*, LCH partners closely with schools to reach families who need support most. The funds raised will help them continue their important work, providing practical support, guidance and opportunities to improve outcomes for children and their families. (*including Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and Rutland).
We are incredibly proud of our pupils for taking part so enthusiastically. We’re truly grateful to our school community for their support and generosity in making the event such a success.
