1st Kibworth Scouts European Adventure

2025 will be a summer to remember for young people and volunteers from 1st Kibworth Scouts. They embarked on a twelve day adventure packed, expedition style trip through Europe! Starting off early one morning at Market Harborough station, they travelled by train. They each had large backpacks and smaller rucksacks on their backs and chests.

Discourteous drivers in the village

As a loyal subscriber to a national monthly magazine, I recently received an email asking me to fill out a questionnaire. One of the questions was about my thoughts on current car driver behaviour. It really stuck with me: did I think road users’ behaviour had become worse since Covid, stayed the same, or improved? I answered honestly, and I’m curious if many of you would agree that it’s definitely deteriorated. It seems drivers are becoming increasingly disrespectful and careless.

Fox Connect - the new flexible bus service

A: It’s a flexible service helping you to travel between villages in the county. You choose where to be picked up and dropped off within a certain area. It’s available in South West Leicestershire, Melton, North West Leicestershire and Market Harborough. You can travel anywhere within each ‘zone’ and book either on the app or by phone.
