National Heritage Weekend

Gateley RJA contacted Kibworth Allotment Society (KAS) earlier this year to see if there was a project they could help us with, to align with their ethos of supporting their local community.

Among several interesting happenings in Kibworth since the last Chronicle there were: another Metro Bank One Day Cup match at Kibworth C.C. with 2023 holders Leicestershire Foxes moving across from Grace Road to Fleckney Road for the match versus Surrey.

The new year for schools has already begun in Leicestershire, but not for all counties, some restart in mid-September, universities open their doors at the beginning of October! New school year, new class teacher and yes homework.

Readers will be pleased to know that after spending over £5 million pounds improving the local RHWS in Kibworth the opening hours are being reduced by 20% from Tuesday 1 October. Instead of being open five days a week this will now be reduced to 

Foxton Primary School has been awarded the SuperKind Social Impact Schools Award for the East Midlands region.

Leicestershire Wildlife Hospital will be holding a fundraising meal on Thursday 17 October at The Shires Inn Peatling Parva LE17 5PU
