This quick half-term sees the KPA volunteers busy with ice lolly sales, penny wars and our final doughnut sale of the school year. We are purchasing some much needed gazebos for the school and hopefully adding to the school reading resources.

Our new exhibition at the Hallaton Museum is called ‘Ale Tales’. This tells the story about the many ale houses (pubs) that started and ended theirlives in Hallaton. It’s become a fascinating story, tracing where and when they originated. There are many photos and recollections never shown before.

At 100 years young, Bob Loughran still enjoys practicing on the driving range and a few holes of golf with his friend Frank. A member of KGC since 2012, known for his easy swing and even easier charm, Bob is the oldest active member of the club, still enjoying six holes usually twice a week, weather permitting.
