An Annual Global Event which is prepared each year by a different country selected years in advance.

Leicestershire Wildlife Hospital will be holding an Indoor Car Boot Sale in the Kibworth Community Hub, School Road LE8 0EW Kibworth, on Saturday 15 March from 10am until 1.45pm.

Leicestershire Wildlife Hospital will be holding a table top sale on Saturday 8 Febuary in Kibworth Village Hall LE8 0LN from 10am to 12.45.

Good progress is being made with the development work for the Community Hub with the library extension close to completion.

As we know from Michael Wood’s Story of England, Kibworth itself dates back to the time of the Romans. The villages and the area around us are steeped in history, so we are delighted to introduce a new series of talks in the library covering a variety of historical topics.

The Club has begun the new bowling year with our annual visit to Potters Resort, Hopton-on-Sea, where the World Indoor Bowls Championships were taking place. As always, we were really impressed by the bowling skills demonstrated by the players and hope to be as good one day! We thoroughly enjoyed the weekend and were able to partake in a wide range of other activities, including snooker, swimming, quizzes and line dancing. The evening entertainment was first class and the food plentiful.
