Kibworth Library will mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day with an exhibition of artefacts kindly loaned by local residents. The display will be open to view during normal library opening hours from late morning on Tuesday 6 May until mid-afternoon on Friday 9. Several members of the twice-monthly, Monday afternoon, Family History Workshop which gathers informally in Kibworth Community Library have been actively contemplating relaunching the currently dormant Kibworth History Society. (www.kibworth.org)

We would like to begin by again extending a huge thank you to everyone who donated preloved books for the World Book Day event. It was a massive success and the children adored selecting a book to keep. We look forward to repeating this next year as it was so wonderful.

The Leicestershire Tennis Awards took place at the Leicester Tigers Ground on Monday 10 February. Awards were presented to teams who won or came 2nd in the Leicestershire 2024 Summer and Winter Leagues.
