As we head into Autumn, we celebrated the last of the summer with our annual Village BBQ in the field behind Christ Church. With the marquee, tables and chairs, BBQs and music all set up for 5pm, people started to arrive. The music was turned up, the first pint pulled and then the fun began. This is always a most enjoyable village event and this year was no exception. The following weekend was not only a Beer Fest at The Kings Head but also our Driving Treasure Hunt that took the competitors all around the beautiful countryside of The Langtons, ending at our pub where a BBQ was laid on. 'The Farmers Forum' won this year and we were delighted to hand over to them the privilege of organising next year’s hunt!

Kibworth & District u3a’s new group, entitled Pot Luck, made its first excursion to the Kibworth Harcourt Post Mill.

Is now located on the wall of The Well. It has moved from the wall of the Manor House across the road and has been completely refreshed. This is where you will find all the activities of your local parish council including details of the next meeting you can attend.

The follow up meeting of the relaunch of Kibworth History Society is to take place in Kibworth Community Library on Tuesday 24 June at 7pm. 

It's been a while since our last article. We have exciting news to share with you all. Kibworth Ladies Choir are busy rehearsing for our annual concert - KLC does Rock!

It's the final countdown to the Blaston Show! Running on its usual ‘last Sunday in June’ date, 29 June, Blaston Show will again host its Pre-Show Party (7 -11pm) on the Friday night (27 June) in the show ground’s main marquee. Everyone is invited! There will be food, music, a licensed bar and great company.

This years music fest will take place between Thursday 3 July and Sunday 6 July in St. Peter and St. Paul Church, Great Bowden, Market Harborough.  The concerts are:

Cream Teas will be held in St. Peter’s, Church Langton every Sunday from 29 June to 28 September.
