Treasurer required for local charity, Friends of St Wilfrid’s Church.

May I offer a very big thank you to all the lovely people (whose names I am unable to recall) who came to my aid when I stumbled and fell next to the tennis courts in Smeeton park on Friday afternoon, 1 March.

In the February issue of the Chronicle ex-editor Roger Garratt asked for more letters. As a nearby resident in Saddington of 32 years, I would like to express both gratitude and a little frustration over some of the issues of the day.
