It was a packed house at Kibworth Grammar School Hall / Kibworth Community Hub in January. Kibworth & District u3a Chairman, Chris Bradburn, welcomed 105 members and 6 visitors to the u3a Annual General Meeting.

Fleckney & Kibworth Running Club are holding a Leicestershire Road Running League Event.

Our indoor carpet bowls season is continuing with the start of various trophy competitions, as well as our social bowling on Monday afternoons and evenings.

Illston on the Hill WI invited Rev Philip Norwood to talk through the finer points of the Holy Land. This is an enormous and very complex subject.

In the vein of the classic ‘Twelve Angry Men’... A juror for a high-profile murder trial finds himself struggling with a serious moral dilemma that could influence the verdict and potentially convict, or free, the wrong killer.

Good progress is being made with the development work for the Community Hub with the library extension close to completion.

A Season of Celebration and a New Year of Renewal

The final meeting of the year was a festive occasion filled with holiday spirit and creativity. On our arrival the tables were set with an array of greenery, a candle and a florist’s tray. Each member eagerly set to work applying their floral skills to arrange the materials in a way that reflected their personal style.
