80’s Mania at the Coplow Centre

After the sell-out success of The Vox Beatles at The Coplow Centre in January, you might be wondering what we have planned next.

Behind the scenes John Taberer has been working tirelessly on something truly special. And now we can finally reveal it. We are bringing what promises to be one of the biggest live events ever staged in South Leicestershire. Right here at The Coplow Centre, Billesdon!

On Saturday 31 October, for one night only, we proudly present ‘80’s Mania’. A spectacular celebration of the decade of big hair, bold fashion and unforgettable music.

The show will feature up to 28 tribute acts. They will be backed by a fully professional live band, alongside the iconic BBC Legs & Co dancers.

Music of Legendary Artists

Expect to relive the magic of legendary artists including: ‘Frankie Goes to Hollywood’, ‘Madonna’, ‘The Human League’, ‘Bananarama’, ‘Duran Duran’, ‘Soft Cell’, ‘Cyndi Lauper’, ‘Blondie’, ‘Dead or Alive’, ‘Madness’, ‘Wham!’, ‘Kim Wilde’ and many more.

As ex-Radio 1 and ‘Top of the Pops’ presenter Mike Read put it. “Its like Top of the Pops meets Live Aid with sexy BBC Legs and Co.”

So, it’s time to dig out your 80’s fashions and non-stop party the night away.

A mega under-taking

Staging an event of this scale has been no small undertaking. For the first time, we will require multiple dressing rooms, a full stage crew and enhanced lighting and technical support. We’ve also curated a two-hour, non-stop playlist of iconic hits. Ensuring an electrifying experience from start to finish – ‘A Night to Remember’.

The cost of producing such a large-scale event is significant. We are delighted to have received generous support from JBL/Sound & Live Technology, helping us keep ticket prices accessible.

Tickets are now on sale at £25 via Ticketsource.

Demand is already strong and availability is limited. So, don’t leave it too late or you may miss out on what promises to be an unforgettable night.

This is more than just a show – it’s an experience and it’s one you won’t want to miss.
