The Station House Collective: 13 Years in the Making
When best friends Jody and Ben opened the doors to Station House in Great Glen, it wasn’t just the launch of a new business – it was the realisation of a dream they had shared for over 13 years.
Having worked in the hairdressing industry for more than 20 years each, Jody and Ben have spent decades helping people look and feel their best.
Throughout their careers, they often talked about creating a space of their own; somewhere that offered more than just great hair, somewhere people could come to truly invest in themselves and their wellbeing.
When the opportunity arose to take over the old Great Glen Station, they knew they had found exactly what they had been searching for.
The building perfectly reflected their vision, and The Station House was born.
More Than a Salon
More than a salon, The Station House is a collective of independent businesses that have come together with one shared goal: helping people feel good from the inside out.
The space has been carefully created to provide a calm, welcoming environment where clients can take a break from the demands of everyday life and focus on their wellbeing.
Hair, Beauty and Wellbeing
At the heart of The Station House is hairdressing, a profession both Jody and Ben remain incredibly passionate about.
They understand that great hair can have a powerful impact on confidence and self-esteem, and they pride themselves on creating personalised experiences for every client who sits in their chair.
Alongside hair services, The Station House is home to a growing range of wellbeing and beauty specialists.
Clients can enjoy treatments including massage, facials, body sculpting, aesthetics, acupuncture and chiropractic care, as well as confidence coaching designed to support personal growth and wellbeing.
Nail services will also be joining the collective soon, further expanding the range of services available under one roof.
A New Chapter for Great Glen
The recent launch event gave friends, family, clients and members of the local community the opportunity to experience the space for themselves and celebrate the beginning of this exciting new chapter.
The support received has been overwhelming, and Jody and Ben are incredibly grateful to everyone who has been part of the journey so far.
As The Station House continues to grow, its mission remains simple: to create a welcoming space where people can feel relaxed, supported and confident, both inside and out.
