Kibworth Bowling Club – June ’26
On Friday 22 May we invited the Leicester Visually Impaired Bowls Club to play us in a friendly match. This is an established charity providing the visually impaired with the opportunity to get out into the community and take part in a sport which gives enormous health and well-being benefits. A great afternoon’s bowls (and tea and cakes!) was enjoyed by all.
The 2026 Commonwealth Games will take place in Glasgow from Thursday 23 July to Sunday 2 August. Televised events will enable us to enjoy some fantastic Bowls and Para Bowls contests.
If this inspires you to ‘have a go’ then just turn up on Monday evenings from 5:30pm with a pair of trainers or flat shoes and we will provide the rest. We also have an Open Day on Saturday 25 July from 11am – 4pm, and we look forward to welcoming new members.
Our lovely clubhouse, with kitchen facilities and a licensed bar, is available to hire for one- off or regular private social events. See our website for more details.
