Fleckney Spinners
Our annual handicapped club tournament took place on Wednesday 6 May. Thirty six members out of a possible 44 took part, a third of which were juniors and a quarter were women and girls. The youngest player was 10 years old and the oldest 77. This showed that age is no barrier to enjoying the ride!
We may not all be champions like Graeme and Erik but a jolly good time is had by all at our weekly sessions.

I was delighted to see the progress made by our coaches over the past year. We anticipate five or six of them moving to the senior league, with three teams in the junior league this season. As always, everyone is welcome to come along and the first session is free. Bats and balls are provided, and we look forward to meeting some new players at Kibworth Mead Academy’s Main Hall on Wednesdays from 7- 9.30pm.
