Winter Sunrise: Ready for the Season?
A crisp winter sunrise (Picture below taken by one of our volunteers) at Kibworth Golf Club has a way of stopping you in your tracks. As the first light breaks over the course, the trees stand bare, their dark branches etched against the colour, while the fairways lie quiet at daybreak.
It’s a peaceful scene and one that feels a world away from the buzz of a busy clubhouse or the sound of a well-struck drive. Winter might slow the game down, but it also gives us these moments: the course at its calmest, waiting patiently for the season to turn.
Golf on your doorstep
The longer days are coming, the greens will quicken, and the familiar rhythm of weekly rounds will return. For now, this sunrise is a reminder of what we have on our doorstep at KGC and a perfect hint that the golfing season isn’t far away.
