Kibworth Cricket Club

Those in the know, know that Kibworth Cricket Club isn’t just for cricket or summer for that matter.
Our social and community activities are all year round. A typical week includes charity meetings, birthday/retirement parties, special events, quiz nights, discos, raffles, skittles, breakfasts (bacon, sausages etc), evening snacks (bar bowls, homemade sausage rolls, spring rolls, samosas, brownies) and not forgetting a welcoming bar that serves coffee, soft drinks and alcohol (with many regular and guest ales).
In fact, this is a special year for KCC as we celebrate 20 years at the new ground.  We will be organising many special events to be announced shortly.

And, of course, cricket, which starts mid-April. We have 2 pitches, 4 men’s teams, one women’s team, two women’s development teams and 15 junior teams (three girls). In 2025 we had over 200 players representing KCC in all competitive cricket.

Our junior and senior nets begin in February, for any playing enquires, please send a message via our club website.

Because the quality of the KCC ground, our facilities and community reach, Leicestershire County Cricket Club (now promoted to Division 1) has played a Metro Bank One Day Cup game here for the past three years. This year, on Wednesday 22 July, we’re delighted to host them again when they take on Gloucestershire County Cricket Club (volunteers welcome!)

So whether you fancy a quiet weekend drink, somewhere to host an upcoming event or want to engage with a range of social and cricket activities; KCC is here!
