The Well 2026

As we step into the New Year, everyone at our charity would like to wish our community a very happy and healthy 2026. We hope you all enjoyed a peaceful and restful Christmas break with family, friends and loved ones.
New Year, fresh start!
For many of us, the start of a new year is a time for a clear-out and a fresh start. If you’re making space in your wardrobe for new clothes, please consider donating any good-quality items you no longer wear to our pre-loved clothes shop. Your donated clothing can be given a second lease of life, helping others in our community while also supporting a more sustainable way of shopping. Every donation, no matter how small, makes a real difference.
The festive period is often a challenging time for vulnerable households, and this year was no exception. In the seven days leading up to Christmas, our food bank provided 33 food parcels to individuals and families in need – that’s the most we’ve ever done in the run-up to Christmas. It’s concerning to see so many people struggling with the ongoing cost of living crisis.
Thanks to our generous community!
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who donated food, money or their time in the run-up to Christmas. Your generosity enabled us to support vulnerable households across Kibworth and the surrounding villages when they needed it most. The kindness shown by our community continues to be both humbling and inspiring, and it is only with your support that we can continue this vital work in the months ahead.
