School Choir sings in the Village!

The choir have been in full festive force bringing joy to the school and local community during several Christmas performances. They kicked off with a special singing assembly for the whole school where all the adults and children sang along. They especially loved an energetic rendition of The Twelve Days of Christmas!

Next, they spread Christmas joy with their annual trip to ‘The Knoll’ residential home. They entertained their crowd with traditional carols and some old-fashioned seasonal classics.

Next, they were thrilled to be invited to sing at St Wilfrid’s Carol service where they sang two songs filling the church with their joyous sound. Finally, with plenty of energy left, the choir sang for parents and carers at the end of the final day of term in the school playground and weren’t even put off by the rain!

What an incredible pleasure it has been to work with the choir at this special time of year. Music always has an incredible way of bringing people together. At Christmas time, it holds a special place in many people’s hearts. It has been a wonderful experience for the choir to bring joy and memories to many this season with their performances.  We are immensely proud of them. Keeeeeeeeeep singing!
