For the history and film buffs we have a talk entitled ‘Zulu and the Battle of Rorke’s Drift’ on Tuesday 3February at 7.30pm. How true to life, or not, was the depiction of this famous battle in the film Zulu?

And for the romantics amongst you (and those who just love cake) we are having a Valentine’s Tea on Thursday 12 February. Details to follow but there will be delicious bites to eat and some entertainment. Doors open at 1.45pm for a 2pm start with an afternoon tea at 3pm.
