Kibworth Community Hub
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
It is with great regret, we have to inform you that from 31 March 2026 the charity, Kibworth Grammar School Hall (also known as Kibworth Community Hub, charity number 1044822) will be dissolved and the lease handed back to Kibworth Beauchamp Parish Council.
Firstly, let me reassure you that this does NOT mean that The Hub will cease trading. It will be carrying on as normal, bookings are safe, and will continue to be taken. We expect that The Hub will have a long and healthy future at the heart of our community.
Trustees
The Hub is administered by a small group of trustees. The current board comprises of five trustees, two of whom are representatives of the Beauchamp and Harcourt Parish Councils. Unfortunately, over the past couple of years, the demands of running the enterprise have increased and, despite our best efforts, we have been unable to recruit more trustees. This has meant that more and more tasks have fallen upon a small group of people and we are no longer able to meet The Hub’s needs.
We feel that returning the lease and allowing Beauchamp Parish Council to run The Hub directly is the best option to secure its long term future.
All the current trustees wish to remain involved in The Hub in some way. We hope to develop a Friends of The Hub group that will look at ways to support The Hub particularly around fund raising for future projects and needs.
Events
Meanwhile, life very much continues as normal. On 13 December, Kibworth Band will be performing their annual Christmas Concert. Last Minute Theatre are busy rehearsing their ever popular pantomime, which will take to the stage at the end of January.
