A fortnight ago four of our juniors took part in the Robert Rock Junior tour grand final at Little Aston. Jack Farley, Tom Farley, Noah Williams and Evan Fowler all qualified for the final after strong performances throughout the season on the Robert Rock tour.

The event saw the best juniors from across the country come together to compete in age categories in an 18 hole competition. Throughout the season the boys have collected order of merit (OOM) points from each competition they have played. The grand final held double OOM points.

The boys all played brilliantly in very testing conditions and produced some amazing results.

Jack Farley placed 3rd on the day in the U21 division with a score of +3 75 and also secured 2nd place in the OOM in the Net division.

Tomas Farley won the U16 gross category on the day with a great score of +1 73

Noah Williams came 3rd in the U16s with a score of +5 77 on the day. He secured himself an amazing 1st place in the Gross and Nett OOM.

Evan Fowler shot a solid +8 80 in the U12s to win the Gross by 4 shots and Net by 3 shots. This secured himself 2nd place in the Gross & Net OOM standings.

The consistency of the boys over the season has been brilliant to see. They have represented the club in a great way.

Jack, Noah and Evan have now been rewarded with their final OOM standings to all qualify for next summer’s Champion of Champions Junior world championships at Lough Earne in Northern Ireland.
