Methodist Matters – Nov 2025

It’s all change this month in School Road, Kibworth. At one end we have the relocated Library in the Community Hub and at the other, the newly re-fitted Methodist Church. Come and try out our new chairs at one of our services.

As we progress into the cold days of winter, those forming our congregation are pleased about the warmth supplied by our under-floor heating. How many times have you visited a small village chapel where you feel that you need to put a coat on, rather than take one off? Not here; come and enjoy the warm premises as well as the warm welcome.
We like to feel that all will find a welcome in our church. All chairs in the chapel have arms, and the church itself is wheelchair friendly. We have large-print books available and, at communion services, bread used is gluten-free, with wine being non-alcoholic. You are welcome to remain seated during hymns if that is your preference and coffee is served afterwards for those who wish to stay for a chat. Don’t be lonely in Kibworth; come and join us at Kibworth Methodist Church.
“Dear Lord, do not make us like porridge, difficult to stir and slow to serve. But more like Corn Flakes, crisp, fresh, and ready to serve” – Boy’s Brigade, Camp Grace
