Y6 Residential Trip

In October, our Year Six pupils embarked on an unforgettable residential trip to Castleton in the heart of the Peak District. The aim of this adventure was not only to explore the great outdoors but also to nurture independence, confidence, and friendships that will last a lifetime. As part of our commitment to enriching learning experiences, the children were given opportunities to challenge themselves, discover new skills, and create wonderful memories together. Their home for the week was the welcoming Hollowford Centre. Here they were welcomed by the friendly and supportive staff and instructors.

Fun in Castleton

As the days unfolded, the children scaled the iconic Mam Tor. They took on the challenge of the high zip wire and ventured through the stunning landscapes of the Peak District. The instructors encouraged everyone to step outside their comfort zones, and their kindness left a lasting impression.

Such a rewarding week would not have been possible without the unwavering support of our dedicated staff. They gave up their own family time to ensure the children had a safe, enriching, and joyous experience. Their care and commitment have truly made a difference, and we are deeply grateful for their efforts. Together, we have helped create memories that will last a lifetime.
