Harvest Thanks
St Wilfrid’s Church would like to extend a huge ‘thank you’ to everyone who attended our Harvest Service on 28 September and 9.30 Express Family Harvest Festival on 5 October; it was wonderful to welcome so many people! We would also like to thank Kibworth Primary School, whose Harvest Service took place in the church on 29 September.
The church was once again beautifully decorated with floral displays, and we are very grateful for the contributions of store cupboard foods which we have passed on to the Foodbank at The Well. Also thank you for the donations of potted plants and floral displays for distribution to the recently bereaved, sick or isolated in our community.

Remembrance Sunday 9 November
We advise that people arrive outside St Wilfrid’s Church at 10.30am to meet the parade. This year’s service will take place inside the church following the laying of wreaths at the war memorial. There will be some seating available with additional standing space. Please go into the church early if you have mobility issues, to ensure that you are able to sit. Collection boxes for the Royal British Legion will be available outside the church and at both entrances.
Please ensure that the road outside of the church is left clear of cars; the road will be closed for the parade to take place safely. Thank you.
