Changes Observed

Kibworth Joint Recreation Committee are to be congratulated. They have further enhanced all our recreation areas – be they small or large – with the installation of display panels explaining the history of each area.

Furthermore the wildflower display in Rookery Park is spectacular and the new metal fencing at the small park on corner of Powell Road/Barnard Way is definitely a substantial improvement.

BT Poles?

Suddenly and almost without warning large wooden 10 metre plus high telegraph poles have appeared on Rectory Estate – an estate that didn’t previously have such structures. This is the work of BT and is completely retro especially as households on this estate have recently been inconvenienced by the installation of fibre by Gigaclear – our designated Rural Network Installer. We wait to see if anyone has a line to their property.

New Squeakies name

We’ve noticed the independent children’s nursery and pre-school business called Squeak B’s has changed its name to just Squeakies. This has been in existence now for 10 years having started in January 2015.
