Kibworth CE Primary School

Isabel Jerred

Isabel is always considerate to others and has the patience and capability to work with anybody of any age. She is a compassionate student, who always takes the thoughts and feelings of others into account, particularly in her role as a school councillor, and advocates for charities that perhaps are less represented.

Fleckney Primary School

Orhan Ovacikli

Orhan is very conscientious and hard working, achieving fantastic results in all areas of the curriculum . This is all the more incredible, considering the fact that he has only been learning English for less than two years.

Kibworth Mead Academy

Aggie Wells

Aggie has been on an amazing journey this year, as head girl and as a positive role model to all. She was ‘Best Young Chef’ in the Rotary Midlands competition and took part in the National Finals where she was runner up.

The Richard Darke Award goes to an outstanding student, not necessarily for academic achievement , but one who has made an outstanding contribution to his or her school life.

Richard was Kibworth & Fleckney Rotary Club’s founder president.

New President

Noel Tyler became President of the club on 1st July following Elaine Vandelli. This is his second time in office and

he is keen to support many local charities, in particular local food banks and the Trussell Trust. He also wishes to maintain

our close links with the local schools. He will continue to promote the Rotary Young Achiever awards scheme. Aggie Wells, from the Kibworth Mead Academy,

featured in the Kibworth and District Chronicle earlier in the year with her success in the Young Chef competition, which will hopefully encourage other youngsters to enter the award scheme this year.
