Foxton Gardens Society – Sept 2025
Wednesday 15 October at 7.30pm, ROBERT MONK HALL, LE16 7RE

We are delighted that Nick Bailey, a frequent contributor to BBC’s Gardeners’ World, will be giving us a talk entitled ‘Revive your garden: breathing life, style and good health back into your garden’. This could not be more appropriate following this year’s extreme weather conditions. So why not come along to see how he can help? A Q&A session and book signing will follow the talk.
The illustrated talk will provide you with a fresh new approach to designing and planting your garden. There will also be a host of tips on rejuvenating tired plants, borders, lawns and patios. This, coupled with a wide range of recommended plants for difficult situations, will ensure there is ample take-home advice. So, if your own garden is looking tired (and whose isn’t this year?) come and find out how to breathe new life into it.
Nick has worked across most sectors of horticulture including teaching, writing and broadcasting, and has regular columns in many popular gardening magazines. We also have it on good authority that he is quite charming!
