Kibworth Parents Association

This quick half-term sees the KPA volunteers busy with ice lolly sales, penny wars and our final doughnut sale of the school year. We are purchasing some much needed gazebos for the school and hopefully adding to the school reading resources.
As part of our objectives we have started the project ‘Beyond the Playground’. This aims to provide more opportunities for parents to communicate and share advice. As part of this we are arranging summer holiday meet ups. This will help the new starters meet people they will be going to school with, and give current pupils a chance to catch up with classmates. For more information please check our website, social pages or email us.
Our plan to reintroduce pre-loved uniform sales is progressing wonderfully. We hope this will be a steady income for the charity, whilst also helping do a bit for the environment. If there is anything you need, please send us an email, we will see if we can help you out.
Finally, we are busy working on our Summer Fair. This will take place on Friday 20 June, 3.30-7.00pm at Kibworth Primary School. We are looking for volunteers to help with food and drink stalls and general planning. Bridge 67 Butchers and Oven & Hob have kindly offered to help with sponsorship for our BBQ and café areas. If anyone else would like to sponsor part of the fair please contact us. We will also be holding a Summer Raffle of vouchers, experiences and similar. If you would like to donate please contact our raffle co-ordinator Rebecca at raffle@kpakibworth.org.uk.
