New signage is now in place enhancing the refurbished entrance and the transition to being known as the Kibworth Community Hub.
FTGU Wrestling evening
We recently hosted another FTGU Wrestling family evening which was well attended and they have booked again for November. The Community Hub was also used as a Polling Station for the May local elections.
Wednesday and Friday Children’s Workshops
We are pleased to welcome two new groups; ARTventurers (ARTventurers South Leicestershire) on Wednesday mornings providing creative workshops for children and Lullababy (LullaBaby South Leicester) on Friday mornings aimed at babies up to two years helping their development through play. Both groups have more information on their websites.
Trainmaster & Art Lovers
Trainmaster (Trainmaster Leicestershire) returns on Tuesday 24 May with its train themed event and the Kibworth Art Lovers Society have their annual Art Exhibition over the weekend of 31 May and 1 June.
Meeting for all users – come share your ideas!
Martyn Wyburn, Chair, has organised a Community Hub Users meeting on Wednesday 21 May which is a great opportunity to share ideas and maintain communication especially as the Hub develops further.
