Village Hall
Saturday 16 March Tony Harris as ‘Winston Churchill’
Historian, after dinner speaker, comedian and actor, Tony Harris, is coming to entertain us with his performance of Winston Churchill. If his last two appearances are anything to go by then this will be an excellent evening! The time is 7 for 7.30pm in the Village Hall.
We ask you to bring your own drinks and glasses.
Tickets cost £15 each.

‘Whodunnit’ 12th & 13th April
Then comes our ‘Whodunnit’ supper evenings on Friday 12 and Saturday 13 April. The Saturday has now sold out but we do have some places left on the Friday night.

If you are unable to make that date, the show is then being performed in Tur Langton and Medbourne.

The Kings Head
We are very excited to announce that Andy and Edd are planning a new venture which they are looking to open around Easter.
This is to be their new ‘Cafe’. Open from Thursday to Sunday. Selling tea, coffee, homemade cakes, breakfast and brunch. So if you are out walking and need a break what better place to stop than our new cafe. Of course, if you don’t want to walk, just drive down and enjoy it anyway!
Andy & Edd are also holding a number of exctitng events at The King’s Head.
Birthday Beer Festival
Also on Thursday 15, Friday 16th and Saturday 17 March, they are holding their First Birthday Beer Festival.
Tuesday 9 April Italian Night
Celebration for St George’s Day on Tuesday 23 April.

Bible Ministry
And finally, back to the Village Hall. A new resident to Smeeton. Brian Efediyi, is very excited to be starting a new bible ministry and prayer group in the Village Hall. This will be on Sunday evenings from 5-6pm, starting Sunday 7 April.
Whatever your faith, background or life circumstance. Whether you are living in Smeeton or the surrounding villages, you will be made most welcome.
