Boboli bouncing into 2024
It’s a new dawn, it’s a new day, it’s a new life for Boboli…
And we’re feeling good.
We are so excited for the year ahead at Boboli. We’ve had plans on the back-burner for so long and now we are finally able to start bringing them to fruition.
Those of you that were customers pre-pandemic will know that we used to boast about being open all day every day. It has been our ambition ever since the end of the lockdowns to return to seven-day trading and we are pleased to announce that we are now a step closer to that goal. Not quite there yet, but as I type, Boboli is in full swing with its first Tuesday service for four years!
We are now open every Tuesday to Sunday from 10am for coffee and sweet treats and then serving our delicious menus from midday, all the way throughout the afternoon and into the evening. We are so excited to finally be able to reopen on Tuesdays, bringing us back to six days a week!
Alongside our fabulous main menu, offering authentic modern Italian fare, we also have our super value Prezzo Fisso set menu. To fill the gap The Lighthouse Supper menu has left in your lives, we are extending it to the midweek evenings too. Our Prezzo Fisso includes a choice of antipasti, primi, secondi and dolci, and is served all day on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and until 5pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
And following our tradition of offering you something a little extra in January, we are serving ‘Prezzo Fisso For Less’, so now you can enjoy two courses for just £20, three courses for £25, or be really Italian and indulge in four courses for just £30.
In the daytimes we also serve our delicious piadine (pizza pocket sandwiches) and on Sundays our fabulous Sunday roasts.
Having alluded to breakfasts in our recent posts, we are busy planning our Boboli Big Breakfast menu, with an Italian twist, to launch early February. We will be opening from 9am Tuesday-Sunday serving breakfast until late morning.

True to our word, the chefs are also working on some Lighthouse additions to our main menu. The firm favourite, twice baked cheese soufflé, has already safely made the journey across the A6. Whole baked sea bass is to follow soon.
