The ‘Road Home’ Concert
What a fantastic concert many of us enjoyed in St. Wilfrid’s Church last Saturday evening, 4 November. This was a joint venture between the Friends of St. Wilfrid’s and the Harborough Singers.
The Singers were conducted by Charlie Penn and accompanied by Andrew King, two incredibly gifted musicians. ‘The Road Home’ with music and readings for the Journey of Life and, in particular, focusing as it did on the season of Remembrance, This was a poignant reminder of our fragile mortality. The whole evening was a night to remember as we were reminded by the noisy bangs and whizzes going on outside! This did not detract from such a wonderful evening. Thank you so much!
