Autumn beauty
One of the most joyful sights currently is the gorgeous colours of the deciduous trees on the nearby bypasses either going from Kibworth into Leicester or towards Market Harborough.
The Highway Agency may not be outstanding when filling in the enormous number of potholes but the systematic planting of trees and bushes when these bypasses were created some 20 years ago is a credit to those who organised the fine colourful displays we can appreciate today.
