Kibworth Bowls Club Greenkeepers’ Shield
Our annual Greenkeepers’ Shield competition took place on 16 September. David Stevens, Neal Baxter and Chris Arrowsmith were the winning team and are shown in the photo receiving their trophy from John Ruddock (President).
After 2½ hours of bowling we were all ready for the delicious fish and chip supper which followed the match.
The closing of our outdoor bowling green at the end of September, until next April, doesn’t see the end of bowling for our players.
Indoor carpet bowls starts in our clubhouse every Monday from 2-4pm and again from 6-8pm, starting on 2 October.

Social membership is just £20, and you can try for free before you join. All equipment is provided. Just wear comfortable clothes and flat shoes/trainers.
