Dear Editor – Tracing Lesley Hamer
I am researching my family tree and I would like to ask for your help. I have read a beautiful obituary (25 June 2020) for Betty Bateman, who died 17 April 2020. I am certain she is my grandmother’s niece. I never met her but have fond memories of her mother Florence.
Unfortunatley, I have been unsuccessful in tracing her daughter Lesley Hamer who wrote the obituary. My grandmother was Georgina Bradbury (nee Tunley).
I have also seen a piece about Betty written by a Mark Grech. I have just noted that someone with the same name works for the Chronicle.
This letter is in the hope that one of your readers, or someone in the area, can help put me in touch with Lesley Hamer. I would really love to contact her.
If anyone could help in anyway I would be very grateful.
