Kibworth and District u3a – March 2023

Kibworth and District u3a is an organisation that facilitates interest groups and social events for people that are no longer in full time work or have finished raising a family.

We have some 30 of these groups, examples of which include Landscape and Architecture, Line Dancing, Tennis, Wine Tasting, and Art.

Currently, some of these groups are full but there is space for people in Bridge, Spanish Language, Pétanque, Photography, Walking Tennis and Table Tennis.

On Tuesday 21 March at our Third Tuesday Social, Fran Sandham will talk about a ‘Solo Walk Across Africa’. Lecturer and freelance writer, Fran is the author of ‘Traversa: A solo walk across Africa’, which was serialised in the Sunday Times.

On Tuesday 18 April Margaret Gilman will talk about Verdi.

Take a look at our website for full details. If you are interested to join but you are passionate about an activity that is not represented or is full, then, if it is within our remit, we will gladly support you to establish it.
