Market Harborough’s very own orchestra, MHO, is preparing to give its 25th concert. This will be under the baton of Stephen Bell. It will be held on Saturday 28 January at 7.30pm at Harborough Methodist Church, Northampton Road, MH.

Secretary and flautist Frances Hynes says: “The title of this concert is ‘Last Words’ as we are playing some of the final works of the great composers. After Beethoven’s Overture to Fidelio, we are playing Dvorak’s last composition, the colourful tone poem ‘A Hero’s Song’.  The major work of the evening is Brahms’s sublime and final 4th Symphony.” This completes MHO’s rendition of all the Brahms symphonies and also fulfils a long -cherished ambition of Stephen’s to conduct this particular work.

Tickets for the concert are priced at £10. They are available online via a link from our website at market-harborough-orchestra.co.uk .  Accompanied children are free but must have a child ticket. Please contact us at MHOTickets@gmail.com if you are unable to access tickets.
