St Wilfrid’s Church October 2022

St. Wilfrids Kibworth

Wednesday 2 November at 7.30pm.

All Souls Service. This is a special service to remember with sadness and thanksgiving our loved ones who have died. If you cannot attend but would like the name/names of your loved ones to be read out in the service please contact the Church Office, see below.

Sunday 13 November

Remembrance Sunday Service. Following two years of Covid restrictions, this year’s service will combine both outdoor and indoor elements. The parade will arrive outside St Wilfrid’s Church at approximately 10.40am where wreaths will be laid on the war memorial and the names of the fallen will be read. A shortened service will then take place inside the Church, beginning at approximately 10.50am.

Please be aware that there will be very limited seating in the Church in order to maximise the standing room availability. Anyone requiring a seat is asked to go directly into the Church before the start of the outdoor service. Collection boxes for the Royal British Legion will be available outside the Church and at both entrances.

Finally, please ensure that the road outside of the Church is left clear of cars. The road will be closed for the parade to take place safely. Thank you.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back into St Wilfrid’s for this important service.
