Fire safety

At fire stations, we believe in putting our community first. Our aim is to look after everybody’s needs within the community promoting prevention and protection; ensuring people remain safe within their premises, and also out there travelling on our busy roads whilst driving.

We recognise that we live in a mixed cultural society, and we offer out to everybody free home fire safety checks, this includes advice, and guidance along with free smoke alarms and installation if required. Anybody requiring this service can either pop into Kibworth fire station or visit ‘The Well’ on Fleckney road Kibworth where the staff will advise you on how to book your fire safety check. There are also free fire safety booklets available in several languages, so feel free to pop in and ask for details.

We are also running an event at the Kibworth Co-op store on the morning of Saturday 12th November 10.00 until 14.00, giving a free tyre check and advice on maintaining tyres and keeping them in good condition for the winter months ahead. This is not only for cars but also push bikes and motorcycles.

We look forward to seeing you at the event on the day.

Stay safe,

Crew Manager,

Andy Smith.
