Kibworth Easy Riders May 2022 update
It’s been a busy few weeks for the Easy Riders. We had the most successful of days with the Duathlon along with the Kibworth & Fleckney Running Club raising over £500. Followed by our first Poker night at the Coach & Horses which raised £120. All the money raised is going towards our LOROS fund.
We made a second visit to Zamosc in Poland, to help out our adopted refugees. We managed to go shopping with them and provide them with enough food for another couple of months. Also we are hoping to bring a family of three over to Hallaton in a few weeks’ time if the visas and paperwork can get sorted. A Mother and two daughters aged 14 and 1 are really excited to be coming over to the area. So big thanks to all the KER members who helped make this possible.
We have also had plenty of new members join us just in time for our busy summer season of cycling. We are now putting on rides on Tuesday evenings, and both Saturday and Sunday mornings. The rides are various distances to suit all our members’ abilities, So if anyone wants to come and join us for a ride, get in touch either through our Facebook page or give Keith a call on 07968 479 991.
