Kibworth Village Hall.
It was nice to put up the Christmas Trees outside the hall this year, which were kindly provided by Kibworth Beauchamp Parish Council. Hopefully these brought some cheer to villagers who walked or drove past during the festive period.
Kibworth Village Hall adheres to guidelines.
The village hall, like lots of organisations, as well as implementing a safe system of operating is also adhering to the Government Guidelines on when to open, and which organisations we can open for. We opened prior to Christmas for Pre-school and dance examinations. After Christmas we re-opened for the Kibworth Playgroup which is using the hall at the moment. From the guidelines it seems that other organisations are unable to use the hall at present but we are constantly reviewing the news in terms of the updated guidelines, along with external advice we receive. We will be keeping regular hirers informed accordingly.
Upgrading of facilities.
The hall has been upgraded during lockdown, with new toilets and vanity units, extended central heating and the main hall being redecorated. We are looking forward to welcoming back our regular hirers when the lockdown ends and we are safe to do so.
Look out for these activities at Kibworth Village Hall.
We are intending to re-open for Caroline Carr dance studios, Taekwondo, Lemon Jelly Arts, Pilates/Yoga, Easyaspi – Maths Tuition, Leicester Wildlife Hospital for their stalls and coffee morning, T’ai and our regular hirers.
Hope for the future.
In addition to these, we know that lots of you enjoy the KVH Community Cinema Nights, Burns Night in January and the Late Night Shopping event in early December. We are all hoping that these organisations stay healthy and well, survive the pandemic and can resume when we re-open. We are also keen to welcome back the Kibworth Chronicle for laying- up when conditions permit as we have missed hosting the Chronicle team every month.
For anyone who has not used the hall in the past, or who wishes to start a group after the lockdown, we may have some regular times available. If you are interested please contact our Premises Officer Josie, on 07702 878340 or by email on firstname.lastname@example.org.
In the meantime we hope everyone stays safe and we look forward to welcoming you safely back as soon as we possibly can.
