Leicestershire Wildlife Hospital June Update

As many of you are aware, the Leicestershire Wildlife Hospital is a village based charity, now in its 36th year. It takes in around 5000 sick, injured or orphaned animal cases every year, with the aim of returning these back to the wild when fit and well.

The centre is a registered charity and relies on fundraising events to keep it afloat. During these uncertain times we are in need of more local support. With our regular monthly coffee morning at the village hall on hold, we are hosting a stay at home coffee morning each month instead. For every £5 you donate you will get entered into our fantastic raffle which is drawn live on our Facebook page directly after the event ends at 12.30pm. Simply go to our Facebook page to help us with emergency funding. Please leave a message with your donation to be added to the draw.

There are other ways you can help. We accept the following for our fundraising:

  • Clothes
  • Shoes
  • Bags
  • Good quality bric-a-brac

And for our patients:

  • Tinned cat or dog foods (there is also a food bin in the Co-op)
  • Bird food all types
  • Rabbit food /hay/straw

Any help large or small is gratefully received. Thank you.
