New Pre-school at LGS Stoneygate
LGS Stoneygate, in Great Glen, is delighted to announce the opening of its brand-new home from home Pre-school. The first children started from September 2026.
The new Pre-school represents an exciting addition to the school’s thriving educational family. It provides high-quality early years education in a nurturing environment designed to inspire curiosity, confidence and a lifelong love of learning.
Parents and children have already shown lots of interest in the new provision through a series of open events. Many families were keen to secure places ahead of the official opening.
The Pre-school has been carefully designed to offer exceptional early years experiences. This is supported by high teacher-to-child ratios that enable every child to receive the attention, encouragement and care they need to flourish during these crucial formative years.
Head of LGS Stoneygate, Christina McCullough, said. “We are incredibly excited to open our new Pre-school and extend the LGS Stoneygate experience to even younger learners. Our vision is to create a warm, stimulating environment where children can develop confidence, curiosity and independence, while families become part of our close-knit school community from the very beginning of their educational journey.”
Applications are now open, with places limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to the school’s commitment to maintaining high staff-to-child ratios, places are expected to be in high demand.
The opening of the Pre-school marks another exciting chapter for LGS Stoneygate as it continues to provide outstanding educational opportunities for children from the earliest years through to Year 11 in the senior school.
