‘Working Wonders’
Could one hour of your time help inspire a young person?
Working Wonders is a new community initiative from Harborough District Council, helping local young people learn more about jobs, careers and the world of work.
It is not a traditional one-week work experience. It is flexible, inclusive and open to people from all kinds of backgrounds.
You could help by:
💬 Sharing your career story
🤝 Supporting a mock interview
👀 Hosting a workplace visit
❓ Taking part in a “Guess My Job” activity
🧩 Setting a practical workplace challenge
You do not need to work for a large organisation. Sole traders, self-employed people, workers, professionals, retired people and community members can all get involved.
Schools will support you, and there is no obligation at this stage.
One conversation. One hour. One opportunity. It could Work Wonders for a young person’s future.
