Kibworth & District Heritage Society

We have almost drawn up a list of talks for the remainder of the year and look forward to some splendid presentations.

Wednesday 17 June Stephen Poyzer will be taking the members on an amble around Kibworth Harcourt starting from the Harcourt door of St Wilfrid s Church whilst those who are not able to join in with this will be involved with an in-house practical workshop.

The meeting in July is yet to be finalised and there will not be a meeting in August.

Wednesday 16 September Neil Hunt will be relating stories of the ‘Leicestershire Home Guard’.

Wednesday 21 October John Freeland will be re-visiting George Weston’s 1891 Census books. Not to be missed!

Wednesday 18 November Philip Irwin will tell the story of ‘The Green Bicycle Mystery’.

Wednesday 16 December ‘The Darién Gap’ – the International border between Colombia and Panama with Richard Hill.

It costs only £10 to join the Kibworth & District Heritage Society or it is £5 to come as a guest. Refreshments are available.

The meetings/talk start at 7pm in Kibworth Community Library.
