Kibworth Bowl Club April 2026
Saturday 28 March saw the last carpet bowls game of the indoor season when 24 members battled it out for the Rose Bowl. Spectators enjoyed watching the bowling skills demonstrated in some very close games. In a tense final Rob Tidd beat Helen Nourish (photo) and retained the trophy in the Tidd family (last year it was won by his wife, Karen).
We opened the Green on Monday 6 April and enjoyed glorious weather to start the outdoor season. Huge thanks go to Crouch Recovery for sponsoring us this year. We are thrilled that this has enabled us to update our team shirts – they look fantastic! We are looking forward to playing in a full season of league games and friendly matches, as well as County and internal competitions.
If you would like to ‘have a go’ then just turn up on Monday evenings from 5:30pm with a pair of trainers or flat shoes and we will provide the rest. New members get a 50% discount on their subscription in the first year plus a free club shirt.
Our lovely clubhouse, with kitchen facilities and a licensed bar, is available to hire for one-off or regular private social events. See our website for more details.
