Blaston Show Returns this summer

Supporting Local Charities and Celebrating the Countryside

Blaston Show

The much-loved Blaston Show is set to return this summer promising a fantastic day out for families, countryside enthusiasts, and the local community while continuing support local charities.

On Sunday 28 June, the show will bring together the very best of rural life, with a packed programme.

Each year, Blaston Show profits from ticket sales and sponsorships go directly towards supporting local charities. This year’s chosen charities are LOROS and Leicester Animal Rescue, reinforcing the show’s strong connection to the local community.

Held in the heart of the Leicestershire countryside, just outside Slawston, the Blaston Show has long been a highlight of the local calendar, attracting visitors from across Market Harborough and beyond. This year’s event is shaping up to be bigger and better than ever, with exciting additions planned alongside returning favourites.

Visitors can expect a vibrant mix of livestock, equestrian competitions, local food and drink producers, trade stands, artisan shopping, family-friendly entertainment and activities, and a celebration of farming and rural traditions.

New for 2026, mower racing, adding a fun and unique spectacle for visitors of all ages.

The popular Members’ Lunch will return, this year catered by Zest Catering and supported by award-winning local farm-to-fork butchers and graziers, Bridge 67.

The show is made possible thanks to the dedication of volunteers, whose time and effort are essential in bringing the event to life each year.

Matt Trembath, Show Director said: “Blaston Show is all about bringing the community together – not only to celebrate the countryside, but also to give back. We’re proud to support LOROS and Leicester Animal Rescue this year and make a positive difference through the show.”

With more announcements to come, organisers are encouraging visitors to save the date and visit blastonshow.co.uk for further details. .
