Save the date for Blaston Show – Sunday 28 June

One of the area’s most loved rural events, Blaston Show, returns on Sunday 28 June, promising a fantastic family day out for all while raising money for important local charities.
Entirely organised by volunteers, the show has charity at its heart. After a record-breaking event last summer, the organising committee was able to donate £23,750 to good causes, and the aim is to raise even more in 2026.
This year’s lead charity partners are LOROS Hospice and Leicestershire Animal Shelter. LOROS provides free, compassionate care and support for people with terminal illness and their families across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland, while Leicestershire Animal Shelter rescues, cares for and re-homes dogs and cats in need from across the county.
Held on Langton Road, Slawston (LE16 7FA), Blaston Show is a unique small agricultural show and a much-loved event in the local calendar, offering something for all ages.
Visitors can enjoy a packed programme including horse and pony classes, livestock judging for cattle, sheep and rare breeds, the popular Blaston Hound Show, dog classes and terrier racing. The Main Ring attractions will provide entertainment throughout the day, alongside displays of modern tractors and farm machinery, classic cars, vintage tractors and steam engines.
Around the showground there will also be plenty to explore, with rural craft shopping, a wide range of food and drink stalls and a traditional funfair for younger visitors.
Blaston Show is proud to bring the community together for a day that celebrates the countryside while supporting important local causes. So save the date and join us on Sunday 28 June.
